The REAL SPORTING GIJON fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Gregory should have stopped the shot. In the 73rdth minute of the game Aquiles Gomez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL SPORTING GIJON's Gaspar Gregory was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgard Bihar in the 87th minute of play forced REAL SPORTING GIJON's goalkeeper Gaspar Gregory to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Nicanor Goren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Gregory. REAL SPORTING GIJON's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Goren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. In the 92nd minute Aquiles Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Gregory saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuhú AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
