After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Leopoldo Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Masia Pergamino's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Proença was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Argider breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 minutes of play, COLO FC's Cristobal Emesto made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Leobardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teobaldo Argider made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Ekain in the 32nd minute. Ladislao Ekain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ladislao Ekain came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teobaldo Argider could save by the left post. Leopoldo Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leopoldo Proença had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the match, COLO FC's goalkeeper Teobaldo Argider had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Ekain. Ladislao Ekain's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Teobaldo Argider firmly grabbed it by the left post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cristobal Emesto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Juan Leobardo made a huge save. Cristobal Emesto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Juan Leobardo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th minute, Ladislao Ekain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. La Masia Pergamino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Teodoro Vargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. COLO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Masia Pergamino the free kick. The supporters of La Masia Pergamino booed when COLO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Leobardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Azeari, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute.
