In the 5th minute of the match Racing Club de Avellaneda got a corner. Club SyD El Minutero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignas Borgaila ran over to the corner to take the kick. 5 minutes into the game, Honorato Mikelats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club SyD El Minutero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club de Avellaneda the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Club SyD El Minutero:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Racing Club de Avellaneda:s goal. The goalkeeper, Baldomiro Mattin, was totally fooled by Racing Club de Avellaneda's Ignas Borgaila, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club SyD El Minutero's goalkeeper Baldomiro Mattin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ignas Borgaila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Baldomiro Mattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amancio Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Club SyD El Minutero's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Bernard Grunwalski scored to the left of an out of position Baldomiro Mattin, making the score, 3-0. If Bernard Grunwalski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Club SyD El Minutero's Amancio Astudillo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Ignas Borgaila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomiro Mattin having to make a save. Baldomiro Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Grunwalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Bernard Grunwalski took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Mattin. Baldomiro Mattin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Baldomiro Mattin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignas Borgaila's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. A collision led to Club SyD El Minutero getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Amancio Astudillo hit a great ball. Bernard Grunwalski charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernard Grunwalski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Racing Club de Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernard Grunwalski to maneuver through the defense. Horacio Serapio scored 5-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomiro Mattin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Baldomiro Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignas Borgaila, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Club SyD El Minutero defense, Ignas Borgaila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomiro Mattin. The Club SyD El Minutero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomiro Mattin should have stopped the shot. When Racing Club de Avellaneda's Ignas Borgaila in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bernard Grunwalski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Mattin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ignas Borgaila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Mattin was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Ignas Borgaila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club de Avellaneda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Baldomiro Mattin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignas Borgaila went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Racing Club de Avellaneda were the better team. Racing Club de Avellaneda's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
