Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1570, VIP seats: 130) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aurelio Ugaitz took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Mártires's goalkeeper Serafino Demesio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Ugaitz. GLEN GRANT AThletic's Marcos Niguel got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Mártires's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Niguel came free, but Serafino Demesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 played minutes GLEN GRANT AThletic got a freekick which was hit by Saturnino Raitin. Leonardo Elija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the match, Mártires's goalkeeper Serafino Demesio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Ugaitz. Aurelio Ugaitz had several of the Mártires's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Serafino Demesio as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 29th minute, Marcos Niguel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafino Demesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 32nd minute, Leopoldo Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Mártires getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Moises Cristofor hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, GLEN GRANT AThletic's Adolfo Ezkerra tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mártires's Serafino Demesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Niguel in the 37th minute of play. With a little luck, Mártires's Serafino Demesio got control of the ball when Aurelio Ugaitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Llope was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, GLEN GRANT AThletic's Martin Kaxen got a free kick in the 60th minute. Leopoldo Sugar made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mártires's Nemesio Javiero. Marcos Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Serafino Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mártires's Jairo Fortun was substituted for Ambrosio Barrionuevo. In the 72nd minute Aurelio Ugaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Demesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafino Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Ugaitz in the 74th minute of the match. Mártires's Venancio Lorencio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Kaxen, made in the 79th minute of the game. GLEN GRANT AThletic's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Daniel Llope scored to the left of an out of position Vicente Librado, making the score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Ugaitz in the 91st minute of play forced Mártires's goalkeeper Serafino Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Demesio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Ugaitz went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 97th minute of the match, Daniel Llope got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vicente Librado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. GLEN GRANT AThletic had won after a very even match.
