Dionisio Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Mirkelam Tolgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Gonza having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Leonel Gaspard made a precise shot to the right of Jeronimo Gonza. Dennehy AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After the first half La Julia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

La Julia's Adan James was substituted for Fernandinho Leme. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Astor Egoitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dennehy AFC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Diego Ramos hit a great ball. Jeronimo Gonza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonel Gaspard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. Clodoveo Paulin struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Carlinhos Passos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dennehy AFC. In the 68th minute Dionisio Goizeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Sazon hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Gonza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonel Gaspard's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Astor Egoitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jeronimo Gonza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Elias Sazon hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. When the match was over La Julia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dennehy AFC throughout the match.
