The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Sunchal defense, Angelino Omero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Santio. The Sunchal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Santio should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelino Omero got free with Juan Santio in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 9 minutes, Israel Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coloncito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Sauveur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute Benjamin Garaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Manuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Santio having to interfere. Salvador Manuelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Fernandez went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Salvador Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Garaona in the 20th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Niceto Bermund put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Salvador Manuelo. 29 minutes into the match, Benjamin Garaona notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Coloncito's Salvador Manuelo. Salvador Manuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the game, Niceto Bermund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Salvador Manuelo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Salvador Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Bermund in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Coloncito's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Garaona came free, but Salvador Manuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Manuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Fernandez in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Venancio Amato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sunchal's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Amato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Manuelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salvador Manuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Angelino Omero made the kick off in the second half. If Israel Sauveur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Bermund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Coloncito defense, Niceto Bermund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salvador Manuelo. The Coloncito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salvador Manuelo should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Dario Fernandez notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Coloncito's Salvador Manuelo. Salvador Manuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Fernandez in the 65th minute of play forced Coloncito's goalkeeper Salvador Manuelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Sunchal's Benjamin Garaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Salvador Manuelo. Salvador Manuelo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Israel Sauveur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Santio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Niceto Bermund made a precise shot to the right of Salvador Manuelo. Coloncito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Niceto Bermund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Salvador Manuelo made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Benjamin Garaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Salvador Manuelo, 1-9. Salvador Manuelo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benjamin Garaona showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-10 in the 93 minute of play. Sunchal's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
