Jorge Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Gimenez in the 33rd minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Joaquin Kaxen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BELGRANO DE CORDOBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquin Kaxen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caitaco AFC's Gregorio Arixo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Caitaco AFC from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Israel Brais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Iyan. BELGRANO DE CORDOBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Israel Brais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zeledon Jayvier to make the kick off. Jorge Iyan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ariel Constancio in the 54th minute. After 56 minutes of play, BELGRANO DE CORDOBA's Zeledon Jayvier made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorio Arixo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of BELGRANO DE CORDOBA booed when Caitaco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position.
