Riverzone's Fermin Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Sliwinski in the 40th minute of play. Fermin Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Sliwinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes of play Riverzone's Gert Staffelbach was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 43 played minutes Riverzone got a freekick which was hit by Gert Staffelbach. The supporters of Riverzone booed when Estrella Roja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Estrella Roja FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Braulio Dimo hit a great ball. Candido Rocio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Celso Larpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Bladi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Norbert Sliwinski sped through Riverzone's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fermin Vidal. Riverzone's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Larpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Bladi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norbert Sliwinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Vidal having to interfere. Estrella Roja FC's Luciano Artaldo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tadeo Behe in the 84 minute of the game. A hard, long distance shot from Tom Laur flew over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Riverzone's zone, Norbert Sliwinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Vidal came out of the goal and Norbert Sliwinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norbert Sliwinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fermin Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Selmo hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Estrella Roja FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
