Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Palavicini's Ismael Damario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Palavicini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Felo to maneuver through the defense. If Luisito Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Pierress short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Teodosio Elizardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th minute, Ismael Damario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palavicini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luisito Pierress short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Teodosio Elizardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Palavicini's Ismael Damario got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Palavicini's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Tirso came free, but Teodosio Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Elizardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Pierres in the 35th minute. Palavicini's Teodosio Elizardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustacio Tirso in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Eustacio Tirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Ismael Damario made a precise shot to the right of Candido Acuña. Ibarreta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 48 minutes into the match, Ibarreta's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Damario came free, but Candido Acuña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustacio Tirso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Pierres in the 61st minute of play forced Palavicini's goalkeeper Teodosio Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Baristo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Omar Felo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Acuña was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 69 minutes into the game, Ibarreta's Eustacio Tirso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodosio Elizardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Omar Felo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Ibarreta getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Baltasar Amato hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Palavicini's Arnaldo Osorio got a free kick in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Tirso in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodosio Elizardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 91 minutes, Omar Felo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palavicini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Felo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Felo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Candido Acuña made a huge save. Chants of Palavicini echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Ibarreta had held the ball for most of the match.
