Hugo Aimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Arano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sportivo Belgrano's Hugo Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Bermudo in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Sportivo Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Arano came free, but Hugo Aimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Urtzi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sportivo Belgrano's Hugo Aimar. Hugo Aimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Urtzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Aimar. Sportivo Belgrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermegildo Urtzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sportivo Belgrano's Hugo Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Arano in the 19th minute of play. Hugo Aimar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ermegildo Urtzi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 25 minutes of play, El Cementerio's Isaias Arano made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Aimar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hugo Aimar came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by El Cementerio's Ruben Bermudo. But to his dismay, Ruben Bermudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 33rd minute, Ermegildo Urtzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Aimar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Isaias Arano took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Aimar. Hugo Aimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 45th minute, Isaias Arano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Aimar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaspar Palben to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Ruben Bermudo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hugo Aimar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcial Kepa came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Belgrano's Gaspar Palben. But to his dismay, Gaspar Palben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Bermudo got free with Hugo Aimar in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sportivo Belgrano's Hugo Aimar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Belgrano from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Gaspar Palben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Kepa was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-8. Ermegildo Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El Cementerio's Marcial Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Palben in the 82nd minute of play. German Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, Sportivo Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Elazar to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Isaias Arano rounded Sportivo Belgrano's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-9. Hugo Aimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Arano, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ruben Bermudo scored 3-10 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Aimar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
