The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romulo Garoa was a little too slow when Enrique Atauri got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 8 played minutes Caseros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Damian Eduino. With an all-out effort, Avellaneda es Rojo's Romulo Garoa threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Mogel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 12 minutes, Damian Eate managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caseros F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Eate was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godofredo Lauro might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Innocenzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godofredo Lauro ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda es Rojo's Delmar Eguen got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Jesus Giraldo made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Innocenzio. Avellaneda es Rojo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 21 minutes, Enrique Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avellaneda es Rojo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Atauri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Romulo Garoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Corderro in the 35th minute. Caseros F.C.'s Romulo Garoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Caseros F.C. from getting a goal against them. Romulo Garoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mogel in the 39th minute of the match. With a little luck, Caseros F.C.'s Romulo Garoa got control of the ball when Eugenio Corderro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Atauri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Caseros F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Lorenzo Katia hit a great ball. Damian Eate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Innocenzio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Atauri in the 65th minute of play forced Caseros F.C.'s goalkeeper Romulo Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caseros F.C. were furious when Prospero Evarado was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 68 minutes into the game, one of Caseros F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Avellaneda es Rojo. Delmar Eguen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romulo Garoa. 3-1. Romulo Garoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Corderro in the 76th minute of play forced Caseros F.C.'s goalkeeper Romulo Garoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Eate took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Innocenzio. Bernardo Innocenzio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Jesus Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Maura's late challenge caught a Avellaneda es Rojo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Maura helped the player get up and apologised. Avellaneda es Rojo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
