After 15 played minutes Los Polvorines FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Roano. 31 minutes into the game, Otumpa FC's Tiburcio Criston nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicanor Orland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 36th minute, Bonifacio Figueroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Criston notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Los Polvorines FC's Nicanor Orland. Nicanor Orland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Otumpa FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Timoteo Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Tiburcio Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otumpa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Criston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicanor Orland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Los Polvorines FC's zone, Haroldo Jaume stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Orland came out of the goal and Haroldo Jaume tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Fe, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Costicã Spiridon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Costicã Spiridon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nicanor Orland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haroldo Jaume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otumpa FC's Orlando Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Eudoxio in the 90th minute of play. If Timoteo Fe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otumpa FC played a much better game than Los Polvorines FC and deserved their victory. The Los Polvorines FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
