After a defensive mix-up in Otumpa FC's zone, Denis Gorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Nuxila came out of the goal and Denis Gorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Santiago Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Mano in the 12th minute of play forced Otumpa FC's goalkeeper Orlando Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, 邓坤南 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Provincia Salta's 邓坤南 got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orlando Nuxila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Gorri went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 21 minutes, Gaspar Kaxen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otumpa FC and the Provincia Salta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Otumpa FC! In the 25th match minute, Otumpa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Criston to maneuver through the defense. Denis Gorri struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Orlando Nuxila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Provincia Salta. After 28 played minutes Otumpa FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Criston. Otumpa FC's Orlando Nuxila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Otumpa FC from getting a goal against them. After 31 minutes of play, Provincia Salta's Santiago Mano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Nuxila was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlando Nuxila came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Provincia Salta's Denis Gorri. But to his dismay, Denis Gorri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Denis Gorri did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 6-0 to the left of a surprised Orlando Nuxila 41 minutes into the match. Santiago Mano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Orlando Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Criston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Martxelin having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

If Erno Ollonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, 邓坤南 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Provincia Salta's supporters rose to their feet, but 邓坤南 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Nuxila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th minute, Santiago Mano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Nuxila was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Denis Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Nuxila having to interfere. If 邓坤南 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Jan-Peter Doren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Nuxila was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. If Santiago Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santiago Mano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Orlando Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Provincia Salta were the better team. Provincia Salta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
