Spectators: 7135 (Terracing: 5373, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 115) NIRVANA's Gualterio Joseph started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Esteban Jerano came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Espil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Jerano couldn't finish the play. Fausto Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Espil FC booed when NIRVANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fausto Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute Albano Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Mincho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Fausto Anaya ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Mincho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Albano Loren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fausto Anaya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Mincho having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Ruben Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Jaen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Albano Loren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Mincho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Espil FC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Espil FC's Esteban Jerano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in NIRVANA's zone, Albano Loren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Mincho came out of the goal and Albano Loren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fausto Anaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Jerano was the one to do the kick off. Albano Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Mincho having to interfere. When Espil FC's Esteban Jerano in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NIRVANA's goalie prevented a goal. When Basilio Hartz fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NIRVANA's protests and gave Basilio Hartz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Fausto Anaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Esteban Jerano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Paolo Mincho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Espil FC's Esteban Jerano in 72 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Paolo Mincho guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 73rd minute Gualterio Joseph shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Mincho having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Espil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Foro came free, but Aquiles Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Anaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Paolo Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteban Jerano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Paolo Mincho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paolo Mincho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Loren in the 88th minute of play. Fausto Anaya struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Paolo Mincho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espil FC. Fausto Anaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Mincho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Espil FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
