Laureano Abajas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of NEURUS booed when ClubRosarioPuertoBelgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximo Dunixi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteve Gimenez went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fausto Ibañez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Dunixi having to interfere. In the 25th minute Esteve Gimenez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, ClubRosarioPuertoBelgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Gimenez came free, but Maximo Dunixi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fausto Ibañez came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the NEURUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Ibañez couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, NEURUS's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Abajas came free, but Ulises Cambranes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NEURUS's Esteve Gimenez got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximo Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteve Gimenez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, ClubRosarioPuertoBelgrano's Cosme Mendebal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulises Cambranes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as NEURUS's Aquilino Crispo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximo Dunixi. That made the score 0-4 after 55 minutes of play. In the 62nd minute, Esteve Gimenez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Benito Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68thth minute of the game Esteve Gimenez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ClubRosarioPuertoBelgrano's Maximo Dunixi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ClubRosarioPuertoBelgrano's zone, Benito Jaunti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Dunixi came out of the goal and Benito Jaunti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Esteve Gimenez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, NEURUS's Benito Jaunti got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Cosme Mendebal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ulises Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Mikolas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 0-5 became the score in the 83rd minute when Fausto Ibañez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Maximo Dunixi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Gimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Timoteo Mikolas managed to get in a good position for a shot. NEURUS's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Mikolas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Dunixi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 95 minutes, Esteve Gimenez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NEURUS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Gimenez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute, Benito Jaunti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. NEURUS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
