Abelardo Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Loren having to interfere. Abelardo Peyo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lino Loren made a huge save. May Day's Martin Vergaray pulled a muscle in his leg after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. May Day's Melquiades Orland was substituted for Martin Vergaray. Placido Ursino hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Sixto Onofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Reno in the 46th minute of play. If Juan Reno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Matteo to make the kick off. Lino Loren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Peruanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Juan Reno succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Juan Reno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sixto Onofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burzaco's Lino Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Peyo in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Burzaco's Juan Reno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sixto Onofre. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. Ernesto Peruanton took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Loren. Lino Loren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Placido Medardo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Pascual Tristan hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A long shot from Braulio Frechoso in the 94th minute of play was well struck, but Sixto Onofre made a really good save at the right post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Burzaco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
