The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cleto Osmundo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nicasio Pirro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Guillermo Iigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espora AFC's Braulio Argoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, Dionisio Karmel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 20th match minute, Espora AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Rameriz to maneuver through the defense. When Severiano Lorenz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Braulio Argoitz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Braulio Argoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guillermo Iigo went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Guillermo Iigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Argoitz having to interfere. Dario Porfiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Guillermo Iigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Espora AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gaston Transito hit a great ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Guillermo Iigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toroyaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Iigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guillermo Iigo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Argoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 46 played minutes Espora AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Transito. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severiano Lorenz in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Argoitz saved Espora AFC from getting behind. The Espora AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Toroyaco were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Karmel made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Guillermo Iigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severiano Lorenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Argoitz having to interfere. Gaston Transito hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Cleto Osmundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Henrico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Porfiro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 69 minutes, Humberto Jacindo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toroyaco and the Espora AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Toroyaco's Humberto Jacindo got a free kick in the 69th minute. Espora AFC's Braulio Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Lorenz in the 75th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Guillermo Iigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severiano Lorenz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Henrico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Cleto Osmundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
