Bernardo Festuccia came out of the goal and Flavio Gabon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinicio Matei scored 1-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardo Festuccia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo Deporte:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 63 minutes into the game, Vasco Sport Argentina's Ciro Frantzes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
