Hilario Chus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 15 minutes into the match, Bossi's goal looked a bit too open when Noé Pardo came free, but Angelo Martino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Joakim Eklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laprida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bossi the free kick. Laprida's Noé Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Jimeno Orlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hilario Chus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laprida's Hilario Chus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Blanco in the 43rd minute of play. Rogelio Cordeal hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Bossi were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Juvenal de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Noé Pardo succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Modesto Blanco struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Angelo Martino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noé Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Noé Pardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Martino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Angelo Martino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noé Pardo in the 73rd minute of the match. Laprida's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alonzo Paublo in the 75th minute. After taking down the ball on Laprida's corner Alonzo Paublo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelo Martino quite easily take care of the ball. In the 75th minute of the game, Rogelio Cordeal landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 76 minutes, Jimeno Orlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bossi and the Laprida players grew even worse after the yellow card.
