After having played for 31 minutes, Modesto Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Naranja Mecanica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Valentine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guillermo Ixidor took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Estebano. Honorio Estebano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Gral Acha's Alberto Basualdo got a free kick in the 39th minute. Modesto Valentine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Ixidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Estebano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. After the first half La Naranja Mecanica FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillermo Ixidor to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorio Estebano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Modesto Valentine's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Gervasio Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ildefonso Oxarra's late challenge caught a La Naranja Mecanica FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Oxarra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Gral Acha's Ildefonso Oxarra got a free kick in the 66th minute. Guillermo Ixidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Estebano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Ixidor ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernabe Gonzales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Eskuin in the 75th minute of play. Honorio Estebano was a little too slow when Guillermo Ixidor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-4. Guillermo Ixidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Estebano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Club Atletico Gral Acha's Honorio Estebano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Gral Acha from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Ixidor might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Estebano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
