Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Hondo in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Oxarra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aquilino Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ratan Kakatsios in the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Zarando Hortero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miramar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zarando Hortero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ratan Kakatsios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Zarando Hortero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Tifon de Liniers's zone, Zarando Hortero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Seguinus came out of the goal and Zarando Hortero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Miramar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Hondo came free, but Ricardo Oxarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Hermon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Zarando Hortero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Aquilino Seguinus made a huge save. The supporters of Tifon de Liniers booed when Miramar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cirilo Elazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Hondo was the one to do the kick off. Silverio Hermon hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Iker Baumer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Cesar Hondo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Tifon de Liniers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Hondo couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Severo Orkatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Constantino Colon made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Oxarra. Miramar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Aquilino Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
