The audience was convinced that Clodoveo Baleren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Qwinton was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, EL MARKES's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Ascencio came free, but Julio Lidon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Federico Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Seber hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Anjuli's zone, Clodoveo Baleren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Qwinton came out of the goal and Clodoveo Baleren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Lidon having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in EL MARKES's zone, Federico Ascencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Lidon came out of the goal and Federico Ascencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Julio Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to EL MARKES getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nicolas Gamus hit a great ball. Anjuli's Samuel Qwinton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Anjuli from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute Martin Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Julio Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind EL MARKES's goalkeeper Julio Lidon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Anjuli were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clodoveo Baleren made a kick off. Leopoldo Fix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 52nd play minutes Clodoveo Baleren shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Samuel Qwinton and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Martin Vincent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anjuli's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Vincent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Lidon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 78th minute, Clodoveo Baleren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Anjuli's zone, Clodoveo Baleren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Qwinton came out of the goal and Clodoveo Baleren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Fix notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Anjuli's Samuel Qwinton. Samuel Qwinton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Vincent made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 90thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Julio Lidon would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Julio Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the match, EL MARKES's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Ascencio came free, but Julio Lidon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
