EL MARKES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelino Etxekopar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Remigio in the 19th minute of play forced EL MARKES's goalkeeper Julio Lidon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clodoveo Baleren was the one to do the kick off. Marcelino Etxekopar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Julio Lidon made a huge save. Honorato Remigio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes, Churqui's Inocencio Herrera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Lidon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Churqui reached it. Gaspar Odol hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Honorato Remigio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Julio Lidon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Churqui could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EL MARKES throughout the match.
