Spectators: 7170 (Terracing: 5379, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alejo Orlanda kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the El Rojo esta De Fiesta defense, Sílvio de Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Furman. The El Rojo esta De Fiesta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Furman should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Sílvio de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Furman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Furman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Rojo esta De Fiesta's Arnulfo Quico got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Mario Chuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Mario Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Lions fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Lions's Sílvio de Castro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sílvio de Castros short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Jairo Furman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Sílvio de Castro sped through El Rojo esta De Fiesta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jairo Furman. 41 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Quico threw the ball into play from the sideline. Lions's Aaron Frans quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Sílvio de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Furman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sílvio de Castro in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sílvio de Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Aaron Frans charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Frans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of El Rojo esta De Fiesta booed when Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Frans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Aaron Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio de Castro took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jairo Furman. Jairo Furman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 71st minute, Aaron Frans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diego Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Furman having to interfere. Jairo Furman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sílvio de Castro went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Jairo Furman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in El Rojo esta De Fiesta's zone, Sílvio de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Furman came out of the goal and Sílvio de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Sílvio de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Frans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th match minute, Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Di Claudio to maneuver through the defense. Lions's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
