Spectators: 6646 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1646, VIP seats: 0) Froilan Olentzaro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Vincente in the 5th minute of play forced Umbrella Corporation's goalkeeper Federico Mattin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Olentzaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximo Lizardi having to make a save. Froilan Olentzaros short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Maximo Lizardi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 12th minute Marcelino Vincente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Mattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 14 in the game by Froilan Olentzaro from a close distance when the talented Maximo Lizardi managed to make a qualified save. Escalada FC's players were relieved. In the 17th minute of the match, Froilan Olentzaro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Maximo Lizardi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diego Gorosti during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Umbrella Corporation booed when Escalada FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Gorosti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Mattin came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Escalada FC's Celestino Paul. But to his dismay, Celestino Paul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 27 minutes into the match, Umbrella Corporation's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Vincente came free, but Federico Mattin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Maximo Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Escalada FC's goalkeeper Maximo Lizardi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Froilan Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes, Cristian Uhin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Escalada FC and the Umbrella Corporation players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Escalada FC's Cristian Uhin got a free kick in the 40th minute. Oscar Udalaitz, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 47th minute Celestino Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Mattin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Paul was the one to do the kick off. Escalada FC's Celestino Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robustiano Itzaina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Federico Mattin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Ubaldo Aragones put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 75th minute of the game. One of Umbrella Corporation:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Escalada FC:s goal. Federico Mattin went to the wrong direction when Rodolfo Bartuelo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Federico Mattin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. When Clodoveo Enmanuel came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Umbrella Corporation fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Enmanuel couldn't finish the play. Clodoveo Enmanuel might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximo Lizardi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Enmanuel ran back to his position shaking his head. Umbrella Corporation's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Celestino Paul scored to the left of an out of position Federico Mattin, making the score, 1-2. Escalada FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Umbrella Corporation's much stronger midfield.
