After 8 minutes, Luisito Firmin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atiles and the Yupanqui FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Luisito Firmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Atiles's Luis Micael got control of the ball when Prospero Bordat tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Yupanqui FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Florin to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Mikeldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Palombi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Luis Micael was a little too slow when Amador Eder got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. Octavio Vivanco took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Mikeldi. In the 46th minute, Amador Eder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Yupanqui FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atiles were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Octavio Vivanco made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Luisito Firmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Mikeldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Amador Eder notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Atiles's Luis Micael. Luis Micael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ambrosio Sidoro's late challenge caught a Atiles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Mikeldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atiles. Atiles's Luis Micael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Fortun in the 75th minute of play. Fulgencio Mikeldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Atiles players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yupanqui FC.
