After a rather tough play, Ninte's Mauro Guillerme got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Tomás Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 38th match minute, Ninte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Henrico to maneuver through the defense. Vladimiro Ishmael fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 41st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Saladillo's Higinio Juvenal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Saladillo from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Gonsalve came free, but Higinio Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Gonsalve to make the kick off. Tomás Nuxila was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francisco Beliran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Beliran in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Nuxila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 played minutes Ninte got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Ishmael. Efrain Henrico hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Tomás Nuxila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Olayo in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Gonsalve in the 69th minute of play forced Saladillo's goalkeeper Higinio Juvenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ninte's Prudencio Gonsalve got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudencio Gonsalve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Prudencio Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Gonsalve came free, but Higinio Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Saladillo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
