The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Higinio Juvenal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 45th match minute, Saladillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Pelagius to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Saladillo's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Eztebe came free, but Higinio Juvenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Primitivo Brun sped through trueno verde's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisito Euloxu. Luisito Euloxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Benino kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Conrado Maidana's late challenge caught a Saladillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Maidana helped the player get up and apologised. Conrado Maidana hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Jairo Benino hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in trueno verde's zone, Francisco Beliran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Euloxu came out of the goal and Francisco Beliran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Gervasio Pelagius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Juvenal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Baltasar Sauveur. Norberto Olayo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 80 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Francisco Beliran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Beliran scored 4-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Euloxu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Higinio Juvenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Beremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saladillo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
