In the 37th minute, Generoso Cristofol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacobo Francho. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of RMA Computacion booed when Marea Roja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tom Midtbø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Urtsua in the 54th minute of the match. With a little luck, Marea Roja 's Tom Midtbø got control of the ball when Sebastian Bernaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Marea Roja getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Cesar Flor hit a great ball. Laureano Urtsua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tom Midtbø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Rameriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Midtbø having to interfere. Bernardo Estebano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th match minute, RMA Computacion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Cebo to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Erasmo Rameriz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tom Midtbø was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. RMA Computacion were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
