Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cirilo Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Tanio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Tanio in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cirilo Peyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lino Tanio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cirilo Peyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Justino Marino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 minutes, Carlos Abarca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cervantes and the Lopiara players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Cervantes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lopiara:s goal. Cirilo Peyo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Donato Ruisko. Lino Tanio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Peyo having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arsenio Azubeli in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cirilo Peyo saved Cervantes from getting behind. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cervantes's goalkeeper Cirilo Peyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Cervantes got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Haritzeder. Cirilo Peyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Tanio's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Cirilo Peyo was a little too slow when Arsenio Azubeli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Lopiara's Arsenio Azubeli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cirilo Peyo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 minutes, Prudencio Haritzeder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cervantes and the Lopiara players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lopiara booed when Cervantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Haritzeder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Ceferino Oier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Incendio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Tanio to strike the kick off in the second half. Cervantes's Cirilo Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Tanio in the 80th minute of play. Cirilo Peyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Tanio's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Cervantes's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Azubeli came free, but Cirilo Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lino Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Azubeli in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes in the game, Erasmo Inguma fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Prospero Incendio having to interfere.
