Santos Roland's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Roland helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Totoral AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santos Roland didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Totoral AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Valerio came free, but Gaspar Dolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Efraín Mast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Rico hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Tomás Bento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rod Laverick in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Nemesio Tab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boca Juniors and the Totoral AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, one of Boca Juniors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boca Juniors. When Efraín Mast came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Totoral AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efraín Mast couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Rod Laverick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Bento was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Rodolfo Argider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Efraín Mast came free, but Tomás Bento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efraín Mast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tomás Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Totoral AFC's Rod Laverick got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Clodio during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Siro Clodio kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Totoral AFC's Santos Roland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomás Bento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efraín Mast to strike the kick off in the second half. Efraín Mast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Argider's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Tomás Bento skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Efraín Mast stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Bento came out of the goal and Efraín Mast tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boca Juniors's Tomás Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Roland in the 72nd minute of play. When Santos Roland was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. In the 77th match minute, Totoral AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Roland to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Clemente Rico hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Clemente Rico notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Totoral AFC's Gaspar Dolfo. Gaspar Dolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emiliano Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Dolfo having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Rod Laverick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute of the match Totoral AFC got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vladimiro Palban ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Totoral AFC's corner Rodolfo Argider fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomás Bento quite easily take care of the ball.
