When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Urre to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Fabricio Pere managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dr. Ernesto Guevara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Pere was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro Geleberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Baumer in the 61st minute of play. Torres FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Fabricio Pere scored to the left of an out of position Justo Rivas, making the score, 1-1. Dr. Ernesto Guevara's Alejandro Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Jenaro in the 75th minute of play. After some careless play in the Dr. Ernesto Guevara defense, Lucas Rosio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Geleberto. The Dr. Ernesto Guevara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Geleberto should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Domenec struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. When Guido Gonzalez fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torres FC's protests and gave Guido Gonzalez a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Torres FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Gonzalez. Fabricio Pere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Rivas having to interfere. Fabricio Pere got in the 97th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Justo Rivas and thus it was 2-3. Dr. Ernesto Guevara's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
