Felipe Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Sjöberg in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, AIX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Amor came free, but Eleuterio Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, AIX FC's Alfredo Raphael seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfredo Raphael the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AIX FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfredo Raphael had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 16th minute, Alonzo Ignatius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute of the match 傅迅奕 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eleuterio Shantala skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of AIX FC booed when Barreña FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Bladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Shantala made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Honorio Jerano sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, AIX FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Shantala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorio Jerano. Esbjörn Sjöberg scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felipe Reyes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Fernão Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Reyes was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. A collision led to AIX FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Romeo Palban hit a great ball. Eleuterio Shantala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Jerano in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorio Jerano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match 傅迅奕 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eleuterio Shantala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eleuterio Shantala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Jerano in the 60th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, AIX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Jerano came free, but Eleuterio Shantala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernão Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Felipe Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Gerardo Nataniel threw the ball into play from the sideline. AIX FC's Amador Lauro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 78 minutes into the match, Barreña FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernão Lopes came free, but Felipe Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernão Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Reyes having to interfere. Cirilo Paio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Silvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over AIX FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barreña FC throughout the match.
