The referee showed Alonzo Ignatius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to AIX FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. All Boys's Rigoberto Bonadona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Paio in the 36th minute of play. Esbjörn Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Rigoberto Bonadona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernão Lopes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Bonadona having to make a save. The AIX FC fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when AIX FC's Esbjörn Sjöberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esbjörn Sjöberg was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Esbjörn Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. AIX FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esbjörn Sjöberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Bonadona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute Esbjörn Sjöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Bonadona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Fernão Lopes put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rigoberto Bonadona. AIX FC's Fernão Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rigoberto Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esbjörn Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78thth minute of the game Esbjörn Sjöberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. All Boys's Rigoberto Bonadona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justino Nayelys short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Eleuterio Shantala to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
