Naranjes FC's Hugo Osasun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Burni in the 6th minute of play. Nemesio Gaizko might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gogo Ostadar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nemesio Gaizko ran back to his position shaking his head. Placido Lorenz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gogo Ostadar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Hugo Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Burni in the 13th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Placido Lorenz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Naranjes FC booed when Burzaco AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Estefan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Gipuzkoa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gogo Ostadar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjes FC. Naranjes FC's Hugo Osasun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Naranjes FC from getting a goal against them. Lisandro Giro's late challenge caught a Burzaco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Giro helped the player get up and apologised. Lisandro Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Ambrosio Burni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naranjes FC's Hugo Osasun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Osasun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Modesto Mikelats went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Naranjes FC's goalkeeper Hugo Osasun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Mikelats. After some careless play in the Naranjes FC defense, Jeronimo Cordarryl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Osasun. The Naranjes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Osasun should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes Naranjes FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Tauro. After a defensive mix-up in Naranjes FC's zone, Modesto Mikelats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Osasun came out of the goal and Modesto Mikelats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ambrosio Burni made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Naranjes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Isauro came free, but Hugo Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Cordarryl in the 55th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Placido Lorenz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gogo Ostadar. That made the score 2-2 in the 57 minute of play. Nemesio Gaizko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Ostadar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Giro went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Burzaco AFC booed when Naranjes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Tauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Isauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Modesto Mikelats ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Osasun was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 78th match minute, Burzaco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Mikelats in the 81st minute of play. Gogo Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Lorenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Lisandro Giro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gogo Ostadar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4.
