Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Burzaco AFC's Ambrosio Burni started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gogo Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Conrao in the 3rd minute of play. Modesto Mikelats in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cristo Restu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 15 minutes into the game, Burzaco AFC's Tomas Isauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Restu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Domingo Conrao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Ostadar was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 21st match minute, Burzaco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Burzaco AFC's zone, Gonzalo Gentza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Ostadar came out of the goal and Gonzalo Gentza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristo Restu came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Burzaco AFC's Modesto Mikelats. But to his dismay, Modesto Mikelats quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 29th minute, one of Varela FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Varela FC. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Burzaco AFC's Modesto Mikelats got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cristo Restu. In the 33rd minute, Ismael Afonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Ambrosio Burni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Restu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Ostadar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Gentza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Isauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Restu having to interfere. Ambrosio Burni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cristo Restu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Burzaco AFC booed when Varela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Ledesma didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonzalo Gentza was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Burzaco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Isauro. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Ruy during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 56 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Burni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Cristo Restu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gonzalo Gentza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Modesto Mikelats made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Varela FC's Cristo Restu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ismael Afonso was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 74 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Burzaco AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! When Bonifacio Rio fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varela FC's protests and gave Bonifacio Rio a yellow card for diving instead. Burzaco AFC's Lucio Estefan was substituted for Fabricio Remir. A collision led to Varela FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bonifacio Rio hit a great ball. Burzaco AFC's attack was well implemented in the 90th minute, but when Ambrosio Burni was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ambrosio Burni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varela FC's Cristo Restu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Abelardo Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Ostadar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
