Börje Giliusson struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Eloy Vellito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Travesía AFC. Tomás Oliverios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Eloy Vellito managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Travesía AFC's Börje Giliusson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Cara De 3 8's Eloy Vellito got control of the ball when Börje Giliusson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Travesía AFC's Börje Giliusson got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eloy Vellito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Giliusson in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Raul Michael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Travesía AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Michael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eloy Vellito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cara De 3 8's zone, Börje Giliusson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Vellito came out of the goal and Börje Giliusson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Travesía AFC's Santo Nastasio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eloy Vellito. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Giliusson made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Gogo Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cara De 3 8's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Travesía AFC the free kick. Gogo Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Tomás Oliverios made a huge save. In the 67th minute Isidoro Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Vellito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börje Giliusson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eloy Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Börje Giliusson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Travesía AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Giliusson couldn't finish the play. Isidoro Martinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eloy Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Börje Giliusson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eloy Vellito was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Börje Giliusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eloy Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Donato Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Oliverios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cara De 3 8 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty!
