Rolando Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Roberto Lizbeth made a huge save. Ivan Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Dolfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of vale.FC booed when RoRRo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Zeledon Arotza suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Eliseo Dolfos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roberto Lizbeth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Roano in the 84th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Felix Guillelme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the vale.FC and the RoRRo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Felix Guillelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in vale.FC's zone, Camilo Asteri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Eliazar came out of the goal and Camilo Asteri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
