Ernesto Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Benigno Loreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Mosen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Anacleto Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serrezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Canor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute Benigno Loreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Mosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Leonel Tabor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serrezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Tabor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anacleto Canor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Efrain Mosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Bernardo Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Serrezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Cucao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Mosen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Leonel Tabor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benigno Loreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Efrain Mosen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anacleto Canor in the 44th minute. Cuervo FC's Efrain Mosen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Cuervo FC from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cuervo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leon Abaunza was slow to take the kick. During this time Serrezuela's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Leon Abaunza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cuervo FC's Efrain Mosen did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
A collision led to Cuervo FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Santo Gil hit a great ball. After 57 minutes of play, Serrezuela's Leonel Tabor made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Efrain Mosen was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Benigno Loreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Cuervo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Loreto came free, but Efrain Mosen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Leonel Tabor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serrezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Tabor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Mosen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Canor in the 75th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Leonel Tabor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Serrezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Tiburcio Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Efrain Mosen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cuervo FC defense, Benigno Loreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Efrain Mosen. The Cuervo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Efrain Mosen should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Benigno Loreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Leonel Tabor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Efrain Mosen. Cuervo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonel Tabor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When Benigno Loreto came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Serrezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benigno Loreto couldn't finish the play. Prudencio Quintana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Fresco having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Serrezuela had played much better football throughout.
