With a little luck, Los Halcones's Rigoberto Roano got control of the ball when Mauricio Huly tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rigoberto Roano made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Mauricio Huly sent off a good shot on target. Gustavo Saturnins short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Rigoberto Roano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 38 minutes into the match, Gustavo Saturnin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rigoberto Roano, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Huly got free with Rigoberto Roano in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Mauricio Huly made a precise shot to the right of Rigoberto Roano. Los Halcones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. A collision led to Los Halcones getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Prudencio Neron hit a great ball.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Huly in the 53rd minute of play forced Los Halcones's goalkeeper Rigoberto Roano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gardey defense, Javier Urre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Muc. The Gardey fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Muc should have stopped the shot. Mauricio Huly scored 5-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Roano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Javier Urre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Mauricio Huly ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Roano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. The supporters of Gardey booed when Los Halcones was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Gardey's Mauricio Huly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Roano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Gustavo Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Roano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Saturnin in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Javier Urre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Halcones's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Urre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venancio Muc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Gardey's Ulises Moise got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 88thth minute of the game Mauricio Huly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Halcones's Rigoberto Roano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Gardey's Gustavo Saturnin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Roano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. After 98 played minutes Gardey got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Jaume. Gardey's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
