Ceferino Lehior guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ceferino Lehior showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Décio Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Torres in the 34th minute of play forced West Ham United's goalkeeper Ceferino Lehior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Lapurdi made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Mariano Oso sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Los Angeles Galaxy's Lukasz Petka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ceferino Lehior. That made the score 0-1 after 61 minutes of play. 70 minutes into the match, Décio Torres notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of West Ham United's Ceferino Lehior. Ceferino Lehior was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. West Ham United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Edgardo Egun scored to the left of an out of position Ceferino Lehior, making the score, 0-3. Michael Šperl kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Mariano Oso put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Octavio Lapurdi. After a rather tough play, West Ham United's Ivan Bermudez got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 89th match minute, West Ham United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Oso to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in West Ham United's zone, Décio Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Lehior came out of the goal and Décio Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Angeles Galaxy's Lukasz Petka got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Ceferino Lehior managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Los Angeles Galaxy's Décio Torres fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
