Leonel Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, El Leon FC's Venancio Silbestre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Ayala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Remigio in the 13th minute of play forced El Leon FC's goalkeeper Muhittin Oyum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Efraim got free with Vicente Ayala in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rdth minute of the game Venancio Silbestre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Centenario FC's Vicente Ayala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Venancio Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Leon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Venancio Silbestre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Ayala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Venancio Silbestre made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Centenario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Navarro to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Centenario FC booed when El Leon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Mauro Hotz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Ayala skillfully saved the ball. Vicente Ayala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelson Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Venancio Silbestre in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Ayala saved Centenario FC from getting behind. If Nelson Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Maurino hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Venancio Silbestre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Vicente Ayala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Cardoso in the 78th minute of play. Vicente Ayala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Lando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Lando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venancio Silbestre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vicente Ayala having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Filomeno Cilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Venancio Silbestre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Leon FC fully deserved thier win.
