An unexpectedly hard shot by Carolo Hernandez in the 29th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA's goalkeeper Alejandro Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Sustrai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Chuan went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Carolo Hernandez came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Virginia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Hernandez couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute Erasmo Chuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Sustrai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Efren was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA's zone, Carolo Hernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. With a little luck, INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA's Alejandro Sustrai got control of the ball when Adolfo Gonchan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erasmo Chuan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alejandro Sustrai firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the final whistle sounded Virginia AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than INDEPENDIENTE DE LOBERIA.
