In the 26th minute, Clodoveo Bermudez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goyena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, Vulcano Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Bermudez came free, but Nicasio Virila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Ariel Leoncio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Nicasio Virila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fermin Tirso to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Goyena's zone, Cristian Medero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Frantzes came out of the goal and Cristian Medero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicasio Virila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clodoveo Bermudez in the 54th minute of the match. Ariel Leoncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Nicasio Virila made a huge save. Vulcano Futbol Club's Nicasio Virila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Vulcano Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Vulcano Futbol Club defense, Clodoveo Bermudez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicasio Virila. The Vulcano Futbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicasio Virila should have stopped the shot. After 75 played minutes Goyena got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Bermudez. In the 77th minute, Clodoveo Bermudez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Arturo Frantzes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Goyena's Clemente Palos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicasio Virila. Nicasio Virila yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. 86 minutes into the match, Vulcano Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Bermudez came free, but Nicasio Virila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicasio Virila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Bermudez in the 88th minute.
