Spectators: 7065 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1625, VIP seats: 140) Eriberto Franco came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilmes MdP's Adan Frasquito. But to his dismay, Adan Frasquito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Julio Lop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Franco having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Quilmes MdP's Julio Lop dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Virila during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Independiente F.C's Fernando Virila got a free kick in the 19th minute. Independiente F.C's Eriberto Franco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Independiente F.C from getting a goal against them. Fernando Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Gotzon having to interfere. If Martin Orlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Independiente F.C's Eriberto Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Lop in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independiente F.C's goalkeeper Eriberto Franco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Gerardo Paio made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Adan Frasquito immediately put the ball in play. Eriberto Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Mancio in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Gerardo Paio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eriberto Franco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 82ndth minute of the game Julio Lop who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente F.C's Eriberto Franco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jesus Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Gotzon having to interfere. Jesus Benet might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Gotzon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Benet ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute, Martin Orlan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hector Gotzon, passed just outside the right post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quilmes MdP fans cheered their team off the field, for while Independiente F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
