Alfonso Cisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Fonso struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Justino Ihintza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético La Plata. After 29 played minutes Huayatayoc got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Porfiro. Diego Artaldo's late challenge caught a Club Atlético La Plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Artaldo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Huayatayoc's Diego Artaldo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Fonso to make the kick off. Justino Ihintza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Cisco in the 53rd minute of the match. Justino Ihintza came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético La Plata's Amancio Fonso. But to his dismay, Amancio Fonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 64th minute, Alfonso Cisco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfonso Cisco took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Justino Ihintza. Justino Ihintza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 75th minute, Amancio Fonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético La Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Diego Artaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Justino Ihintza came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético La Plata's Amancio Fonso. But to his dismay, Amancio Fonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 90th minute Amancio Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Ihintza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justino Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Fonso in the 92nd minute of play. Amadeo Maju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Ihintza having to interfere. There was no doubt that Club Atlético La Plata were the better team. Club Atlético La Plata's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
