Spectators: 7083 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 124) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victor Cefero got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Robustiano Montae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Esteve Ovando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Cefero in the 7th minute of play forced Newton AFC's goalkeeper Esteve Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Newton AFC's Esteve Ovando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Millrick in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jardón FC's Angelo Ascencio got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes in the game Fermin Lonzo after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Orlando Artaldo. A very good opportunity. Robustiano Montae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Esteve Ovando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Ovando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Millrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Ovando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Montae in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute Fabio Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Artaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Newton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Montae came free, but Esteve Ovando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee gave Jardón FC a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marcial Diagur, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Newton AFC's Esteve Ovando. 0-2. Esteve Ovando came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Jardón FC's Victor Cefero. But to his dismay, Victor Cefero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Esteve Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Jardón FC's Victor Cefero in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newton AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Newton AFC's Esteve Ovando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Millrick in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabio Bertin made a kick off. Newton AFC's Esteve Ovando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Ado in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jardón FC's Maximiliano Ado got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute Maximiliano Ado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Ado, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Jardón FC's Victor Cefero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 69 minutes into the match, Newton AFC's goalkeeper Esteve Ovando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Millrick. Antoni Nalaskowski took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Artaldo. Orlando Artaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After 73 minutes, Juliusz Bakes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newton AFC and the Jardón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Newton AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Juliusz Bakes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Montae in the 78th minute of play forced Newton AFC's goalkeeper Esteve Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabio Bertin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd play minute Florentino Millrick came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Esteve Ovando. 1-5. 86 minutes into the game, Florentino Millrick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Esteve Ovando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esteve Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Cefero, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute Robustiano Montae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Ovando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Millrick got free with Esteve Ovando in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Jardón FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Newton AFC.
