Newton AFC were furious when Juliusz Bakes was red carded, 6 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Newton AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Snuff F.C's Pedro Salvatore got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Esteve Ovando. In the 12th match minute, Snuff F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Chan to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, Newton AFC's Fermin Lonzo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severiano Clodio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Newton AFC reached it. After 15 minutes, Antonio Chan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Snuff F.C and the Newton AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Snuff F.C! The referee gave Newton AFC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fermin Lonzo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Snuff F.C's Severiano Clodio. 1-1. In the 20th minute, Anselmo Ebardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteve Ovando was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 23 played minutes Newton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Bertin. Arnulfo Barea struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Esteve Ovando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snuff F.C. Anselmo Ebardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Esteve Ovando made a huge save. Esteve Ovando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Ebardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Fabio Bertin fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Newton AFC's protests and gave Fabio Bertin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th match minute, Newton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Bertin to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Barea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esteve Ovando, 3-1. Esteve Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Ebardo in the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Bertin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esteve Ovando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Ebardo in the 53rd minute of the match. Esteve Ovando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Newton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Ebardo came free, but Esteve Ovando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteve Ovando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Cordara in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Anselmo Ebardo notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Newton AFC's Esteve Ovando. Esteve Ovando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute Fabio Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Clodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newton AFC's Esteve Ovando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Ebardo in the 68th minute of play. After some careless play in the Newton AFC defense, Anselmo Ebardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteve Ovando. The Newton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteve Ovando should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabio Bertin got free with Severiano Clodio in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 85 played minutes Snuff F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Abancens. Fermin Lonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The long shot by Fermin Lonzo in the 91st minute really tested Severiano Clodio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Newton AFC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Antoni Nalaskowski hit a great ball. Esteve Ovando came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Snuff F.C's Dionisio Cordara. But to his dismay, Dionisio Cordara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. There was no doubt that Snuff F.C were the better team. Snuff F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
