The supporters of INDEPENDIENTE booed when losgurises was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Gombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carmelo Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as INDEPENDIENTE's Ciriaco Garoa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Damario. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. A collision led to INDEPENDIENTE getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Carmelo Cutberto hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Yrjänä Nyyssönen came free, but Miguel Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Damario having to interfere. Benicio Primo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Boni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the INDEPENDIENTE defense, Yrjänä Nyyssönen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Boni. The INDEPENDIENTE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Boni should have stopped the shot. Yrjänä Nyyssönen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the match, INDEPENDIENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Librado came free, but Miguel Boni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Benicio Primo made the kick off in the second half. losgurises's Raul Txerran managed to work through INDEPENDIENTE's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Raul Txerran dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Boni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, INDEPENDIENTE's Miguel Boni got control of the ball when Raul Txerran tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of losgurises booed when INDEPENDIENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Ellande didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Primo in the 69th minute of play forced INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Miguel Boni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Txerran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Miguel Boni made a huge save. losgurises's Benicio Primo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Txerran was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. losgurises's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Benicio Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. losgurises played a much better game than INDEPENDIENTE and deserved their victory. The INDEPENDIENTE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
