The corner went over the outstretched arms of Rio Cuarto FC's goalie and right to Aldo Ponce. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Rio Cuarto FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dante Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Ramond, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio Cuarto FC's Elvio Colon got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Eusebio Ramond recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Loco. Eusebio Ramond showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 40th minute Silverio Elija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Cuarto FC's Dante Loco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Rio Cuarto FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Leicester TDF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Nemesio Oihenarte hit a great ball. In the 48th minute of the match Ceferino Azeari shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gennadiy Klochko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Dante Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Elija in the 54th minute of play. Rafael Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Ramond in the 58th minute of play forced Rio Cuarto FC's goalkeeper Dante Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Loco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Elija went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Dante Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Giraldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 92 minutes of play, Leicester TDF's Silverio Elija made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Loco was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the match, Rio Cuarto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Giraldo came free, but Dante Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
